also, when i used to have a bed, what i would do is i would sometimes sleep the opposite way on it (upside down) to make my life seem more exciting

i have slept on the opposite side of the bed as recent as ~one week ago
I did the same thing, except it was while masturbating.
I used to sleep on the floor for that reason. That and my couch spoke in tongues.
